What Comes With
Every Truck Parts Order
Drums That Run True
Balance and runout of every brake drum checked, with a balancing report for the order.
Coolers Leak Tested
Every radiator and cooler is tested under air pressure before it is packed, with the leak test report.
Springs Set to Load
Load and camber of leaf springs checked on samples from each batch, and hardness on every batch.
Ready for the Workshop
A packing list by part number and pallet, with photographs, so a workshop can fit parts from the pallet.
How Heavy Duty Truck Parts Are Made
- Casting and MachiningDrums, hubs, hangers and housings, cast in iron or steel and machined to the drawing.
- BalancingBrake drums balanced so they run true on the axle.
- Spring MakingLeaves cut, hot formed, quenched and tempered, shot peened, then set to load and camber.
- Core BuildingRadiator cores soldered in copper and brass or brazed in aluminium, then fitted with tanks.
- Leak TestingEvery radiator and cooler tested under air pressure before it is packed.
- Forging and Heat TreatmentKing pins, U bolts and axle parts forged, hardened and ground.
